Sudden large volume spikes are a great way to spot stocks which could easily become multibaggers, companies that grow in price by 500% or more in a relatively short amount of time. The volume spikes that should get your attention are those that seem to rise like a skyscraper in a desert when compared to an annual volume chart.

Another point to make about multibaggers is that you don't always have to rush into buying a classic multibagger stock.  You could safely wait until the company has a  half billion dollar market cap and proven abilities.  It will still have a long way to grow from there if it is destined to become a large cap like Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, and GE.
